Have you heard about A Day of Action for Black Moms and Babies? Click on the heading above to learn more about the call to action and how to participate!
Our strategy addresses the crisis of racial disparities in maternal and infant health from multiple angles. We will:
Advocate for systems-level changes that advance the cause of birth equity.
Serve and support BIPOC parents and babies with initiatives that champion bodily autonomy and informed decision-making to help build a solid foundation of health & well-being.
Rebuild the village and serve families of Color! All over the country, birth workers of Color are leading the charge for change on the front lines by helping families have safe, informed birth experiences. We seek to build a thriving community of birth workers of Color right here in Wichita from out of our own neighborhoods to serve our families.
Together, we can create a future in which Black and Brown parents and babies are no longer disproportionately likely to die or suffer from medical complications.
