My name is Tamara. I am a mother to a beautiful baby girl, an esthetician, breastfeeding counselor and perinatal doula. My passion for becoming a doula derives from my own personal journey to motherhood. I was so fascinated with the transformative process of my pregnancy and birthing experience that I started learning everything I could. Black infant mortality was the first thing that I began researching and it crushed my heart. It was there that I saw the need for advocacy that our community needed and I wanted to be apart of that! My goal as a doula is to empower, educate, and help other birthers achieve their desired birthing experience. We deserve to birth the way that we choose, that voice is ours, that voice is yours and as a doula, I will echo that voice.
